    Recently,  during a press interaction for Ghost Stories where Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, and Dibakar Banerjee are once again joining hands after Lust Stories to bring together an anthology, this time with horror as the theme. Talking about his experience of making a short film in the horror genre, Karan said, “I don’t like horror genre at all, I don’t watch any of these movies, I didn’t enjoy the process at all because it was very difficult for me and yeah I did my best but it was tough for me.” Check out the video here:



    During the interaction, Zoya also brought up how Surekha Sikri came to work for her film. Zoya recalled how she wanted the veteran actress in Gully Boy but that did not work out since she was doing Badhaai Ho. When she tried to get in touch with her for Ghost Stories, she had just had an accident and was in the wheelchair and thus Zoya though that she would refuse it. But, nevertheless, she wanted to give it a shot and asked Sikri if she could come and meet her at home, but instead who came to meet Zoya at her office in a wheelchair and ended up doing the film.
