The Narcotics Control Bureau is looking into Karan Johar’s star-studded bash from 2019 which has been caught in the eye of the storm for a while now with allegations that the celebrities in the video look drugged. The agency on Thursday sent the filmmaker a notice wanting to validate the authenticity of the footage that went viral on social media. According to the latest reports, the move came after the Directorate of Forensic Science (DFS) lab in Gujarat verified that the video shared by Johar looked authentic and suggested that taking a look at the device it was shot on might provide further clarity.

Karan submitted his response to NCB’s notice on Friday. According to Mid-Day he was asked to verify details of the devices the party video was recorded on. Details and documents were submitted by Karan Johar’s representative on a pen drive to the Mumbai zonal office. It is reported that Karan Johar in his explanation has claimed that the device on which the video was shot has been misplaced.
