Karan Johar To Make A Biopic On Sourav Ganguly With Hrithik Roshan In The Lead?

Biopics, especially sports biopics are very much in vogue in the Indian film industry right now, especially the Hindi film industry. Right from ’83 to Shabaash Mithu, a number of sports biopics are in the pipeline. Another might soon be added to this list and this biopic would be on none other than ‘Dada’ Sourav Gangulyand reports are claiming that Karan Johar might make it.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Karan Johar had met the former captain of the Indian Cricket team and the current BCCI president and the two are discussing a possible biopic on his life. In fact, Ganguly had flown down to Mumbai and met the director.

It is also rumoured that Hrithik Roshan might be playing the lead. Hrithik is a perfectionist and we are sure that he would do justice to the biopic.

Well, who would not want to see Dada being savage or the iconic moment from Lord’s Stadium come alive on the silver screen? Earlier, a biopic on Sushant Singh Rajput has already been made and the film became a super hit. Now, Mithali Raj’s biopic is on the cards and Taapsee Pannu will play the cricketer. It had also been reported that Jhulan Goswami’s biopic, with the title Chakdah Express might also be made soon.
