Karan Johar's Viral Party Video Gets A Clean Chit By The Forensic Science Laboratory: Reports

After the sudden death of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Bollywood’s alleged drug nexus came into the spotlight. Many famous stars including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and others were questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau as their names cropped in the drug nexus. Not only this but Karan Johar’s party video which he hosted in the year 2019 also came into the light. The video went viral after claims were made that the actors were consuming drugs during the party.

According to a report by NDTV, the Forensic Science Laboratory officials have now given a clean chit to Karan’s controversial party video that went viral, during the NCB probe. The report reveals that the white line seen in the video is just a bare reflection of the tube light. The FSL has also claimed that no drugs and narcotic substances were found at the filmmaker’s party by inspecting the video.

Earlier, Karan Johar came up and claimed that all the allegations made about him and the party video are false and baseless, he said neither consumes any narcotics nor encourage the consumption of drugs.  "Certain news channels, print/ electronic media and social media platform(s) are wrongly and misleadingly reporting that narcotics were consumed at a party that I, Karan Johar hosted on July 28, 2019, at my residence. I had already clarified my position way back in 2019 that the allegations were false. In view of the current malicious campaign, I am reiterating that the allegations are completely baseless and false. No narcotics substance was consumed at the party. I WOULD LIKE TO UNEQUIVOCALLY ONCE AGAIN STATE THAT I DO NOT CONSUME NARCOTICS AND I DO NOT PROMOTE OR ENCOURAGE CONSUMPTION OF ANY SUCH SUBSTANCE." 

In the viral party video, stars including Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and others were seen.
