Kareena Kapoor Introduces Saif Ali Khan As Lankesh In Prabhas Starrer Adipurush: 'The Most Handsome Devil In History'

After Bahubali Prabhas has signed on to be a part of another grand mythological drama Adipurush and fans couldn’t have more. The film however, got grander as Saif Ali Khan has been announced to play the villain in this adaptation of the Ramayan being helmed by Tanhaji director Om Raut.

On Thursday morning, Prabhas introduced the villain Saif as Lankesh [Ravan] to his Ram the actor wrote, ‘7000 years ago existed the world’s most intelligent demon.’

The original poster of the film turned icy blue with a ten-headed demon introducing Ravan. While it is too soon to be learning more about Saif’s demonic avatar, the actor already has everyone’s vote of confidence given how he nailed playing the negative character in Om Raut’s Tanhaji earlier this year where he played Udaybhan Singh Rathore.

Kareena Kapoor shared the poster too and called her man Saif 'the most handsome devil in history'.

Prabhas on the other hand is prepping for his role and will be learning archery according to Om Raut. In the statement announcing Adipurush the actor said, “Every role and every character comes with its own challenges, but portraying a character like this comes with tremendous responsibility and pride. I am very excited to portray this character from our epic specially the way Om has designed it. I am sure the youth of our country will shower all their love on our film.”

The remaining cast for Adipurush is still to be finalized. The film begin rolling in 2021 and will get a grand release 2022.
