Kareena Kapoor Khan To Play Aamir Khan’s Love Interest In Lal Singh Chaddha?

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that almost the entire globe has seen and appreciated the Tom Hanks starrer multiple award-winning Hollywood flick Forrest Gump. And how can people from our part of the world forget that perfectionist Aamir Khan announced a remake of the same film on his birthday.

Aamir has thought of naming the film Lal Singh Chaddha. The film will be an official adaptation of the Tom Hanks film. With the kind of track record Khan has with most of his films, it will be interesting to see whether he can recreate the atmosphere of the cult film or no. But again, when we think of his latest dud Thugs Of Hindostan, we get petrified with the contingency of the plot going overboard!

Now, according to a media report, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen in Aamir’s film Lal Singh Chaddha.

Kareena is currently shooting for the Irrfan Khan starrer Angrezi Medium in London and after that, she is slated to be back to pavilion for the dance reality show and this is when she will be giving a nod to being part of the ambitious project. According to the report, if the actress agrees to be part of the film, she will be seen in the role of Aamir's love interest in it.

The media report quotes as saying, “The chemistry between the characters must be effortless. Aamir wants Kareena to play the part. She is in London till August, shooting for Angrezi Medium. She will make a pit stop in Mumbai next month for her TV commitments. The final call on the casting will be taken then.”

Aamir and Kareena have been paired together in films like 3 Idiots and Talaash. Both the films were huge successes and now it will really be interesting to see if Bebo takes on Lal Singh Chaddha as well.

The film will be directed by Advait Chandan and will go on floors by October 2019
