Kareena Kapoor On Her Son Taimur Ali Khan Being Dragged In The Nepotism Debate: 'Not Necessary He Will Be Successful'

Paparazzi, fan pages and millions of fans swoon in the nation over just one picture of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s son Taimur. The actress admits that her three-year-old son is ‘the most photographed child in the country’ but doesn’t know for what reason. The Laal Singh Chadha actress said this and more during an interview with Film Companion while talking about Taimur’s career in films which has suddenly become an agenda in the nepotism debate, “Yeh nahi hai ki Taimur Ali Khan is going to become the biggest star in this country.”

The actress wants her son to grow up to be self-reliant and self-sufficient and forge a career path for himself doing whatever makes him happy. “You want to be a chef somewhere, a pilot, whatever you want to do. I want him to fly and be happy in his life. And it’s not necessary that because he has successful parents, he will be successful. His journey is going to start when he wants to start. He has to find his own path. His parents are not going to help him in whatever way,” the actress tells Anupama Chopra.

Linking it all back to the ongoing nepotism debate the actress put an end to all speculation and said, “All this nepotism ki ye hoga woh hoga, Taimur star banega…. arre we also don’t know.”

Kareena and Saif are also expecting their second child together and only last month the couple announced the good news. Like her previous pregnancy Kareena continues to work even with all the restrictions related o the pandemic situation. She will soon resume shooting for her portions of Laal Singh Chadha with Aamir Khan.
