Kareena Kapoor Wraps Up Laal Singh Chadha: The Pandemic, My Pregnancy, Nothing Could Stop The Passion

Kareena Kapoor has wrapped up her portion of Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha’s shoot. The actress made the announcement on Instagram sharing a photo with co-star Aamir where they can be seen sitting outdoors enjoying the sun.

In her post she wrote, “And all journeys must come to an end. Today, I wrapped my film Laal Singh Chaddha... tough times... the pandemic, my pregnancy, nervousness but absolutely nothing could stop the passion with which we shot, with all safety measures ofcourse.”  She also went on to thank her team.

The actress who is pregnant with her second baby after Taimur Ali Khan had flown to Delhi a few weeks ago with her family to wrap up her portions in the film. With her baby bump already visible many reports claimed that the makers have decided to use CGI to hide it. Kareena is expecting her second baby early next year.

The pandemic delayed the project by several months. Laal Singh Chaddha was scheduled to release in theatres in December 2020 but has now been pushed an entire year because of delays. Aamir was shooting for the project right up until the lockdown was announced and despite just a 10 day schedule in Delhi the makers decided to halt the project.

Laal Singh Chadha which is the official remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump is now expected to arrive in December 2021.
