Kartik Aaryan And Kiara Advani ‘s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Is Going To Be Horror Story, Director Anees Bazmee Also Reveal Other Details

Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa is still a cult favorite among the fans. Thus, ever since the sequel Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was announced we have been really excited to know more details about the film, especially if the sequel will be true to the original and take the story forward.

Recently, director Anees Bazmee put a stop to all such speculations and announced that Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer will have very little to do with the first film. He said, “hool Bhulaiyaa (2007) was a psychological thriller, but the second outing is a ghost story. It does not take off from where the first part ended. It is a different tale, with a fresh set of actors," says Bazmee, adding that on hearing the narration, he was of the opinion that it could enjoy a fresh title. "But the makers were keen on reviving the franchise.”

When asked about the similarity in terms of Kartik Aaryan’s look from the film which is identical to that of Akshay Kumar in the film, Bazmee explained, “We had to live up to the title, so there had to be some common elements. Bhool Bhulaiyaa is used to describe a maze, so the film has to be set in a sprawling haveli with several pathways.”
