Kartik Aaryan Completes His Quartet Of Hot-N-Happening Co-Stars As Janhvi Kapoor Joins Dostana 2

For every leading lady, it is a dream come true to be featuring opposite the Top-3 Khans. Katrina Kaif has done that twice over by repeating her jodi with Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. On the other hand, there is a role reversal of sorts as there is one youngster with whom all new entrants in Bollywood are happy to be seen getting paired up with. 

The man in question is Kartik Aaryan and with Dostana 2, he would be completing the quartet of newbie leading ladies opposite him.

“Janhvi Kapoor is the one opposite Kartik Aaryan in Dostana 2 and that indeed makes the jodi special,” comments an observer, “The Luka Chuppi star is the hottest property around, especially when it comes to romcom entertainers being made and Janhvi would be his fourth leading lady in this genre.”

That’s true because he is already working with Sara Ali Khan (Imtiaz Ali’s next which is tentatively titled Love Aaj Kal 2), Ananya Pandey (Pati Patni Aur Woh) and Disha Patani (Anees Bazmee’s next). Sara is just two films old (Kedarnath, Simmba), Ananya is the newest girl in town (Student of the Year 2) while Disha Patani would now be doing her next biggie after Baaghi 2.

“Kartik is indeed busy with each of these films arriving in next 6-18 months. It would be interesting to see how his pairing with these new leading ladies in Bollywood turns out to be,” an insider says, “So many times it happens that when you deliver a good success with one heroine, the pairing is loved by audiences so much that you end up getting more and more offers with the same actor. Sara, Janhvi, Ananya, Disha - let’s see which pairing becomes the most successful in time to come.”

It has been a while since a new quintessential romantic jodi in Bollywood shaped up and Kartik could well lead to not just one but perhaps even more such pairings.
