Kartik Aaryan posted the first episode of Koki Poochega yesterday. This is his show where he would be interviewing those who had been affected by COVID-19 in India and has now recovered. Yesterday was the maiden episode and Kartik interviewed a 34-year-old from Ahmadabad who had been one of the first patients of the city to have contracted the disease but has now fully recovered from it. He shared a video on his YouTube page where he interacted with the Sumiti.

It already looks like Kartik has found fans even within the industry for this initiative.  Janhvi Kapoor and Alia Bhatt absolutely loved the idea and expressed it on the post that Katik shared. Commenting over the post, Janvi wrote, “too good kokiiji ?? much needed” while Alia wrote, “How nice this is.” Check out their comments here:

Speaking about this new series, the Kartik had said, “Ever since the outbreak of COVID-19, there is too much of misinformation about the virus, masses are still confused about the dos’ and donts’ during these critical times. I really thought there needs to be clarity and speak to the people who have fought the virus. And it’s not just about putting forward questions about Coronavirus, it’s also for people to learn and understand how to kick out this virus - Not to panic, how to stay calm and how to strongly face these times. While the doctors, policemen and everyone serving our country are working day and night for us, as an actor I thought, this is the smallest thing I can do through this large medium. My show is nothing but to speak to every Indian, reach out to every household nationwide through these interviewees about safety and what are the right precautions at these times.”
