Kartik Aaryan No More A Part Of Dostana 2, Walks Out Of The Film Due To Creative Differences With Karan Johar?

The much-awaited sequel to Dostana has been in the making for quite some time now. Looks like apart from the Covid-19 roadblock that has possed as a hurdle for nearly all films in the making the movie is now battling some bigger issues.

Reports suggest that Kartik Aaryan, the leading man of Dostana 2 has now exited the project over creative differences with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film was announced with Kartik Janhvi Kapoor and debutant Lakshya Lalwani.

A Koi Moi report claims that the reasons behind Kartik’s exit have been attributed to time clashes, creative differences, and unprofessional attitude. Not just this, the report also claims that the Dhamaka actor might be looking at a lifetime ban from Dharma Productions.

A source tells the portal that the cast of the film has only shot for 20 days in the past year and a half and through it all there were confusions over dates and creative differences between Karan and Kartik. As the troubles continued the two ended their association mutually but on a bitter note.

Kartik Aaryan catapulted to stardom after his film Sonu Ke Tittu Ki Sweety hit the 100 crore jackpot at the box office. The actor has since signed multiple projects. Recently there were several reports of Kartik signing another Dharma project with filmmaker Sharan Sharma who helmed Janhvi’s, Gunjan Saxena.

The film was touted to be a sports drama based on cricket. Karan Johar, however, put an end to all speculations this week as he tweeted that the cast of the film hasn’t been finalized and the script of the film is yet to be locked.
