    Kartik Aaryan narrated his famous monologue from Pyaar Ka Punchnama which is frequently requested on Kareena Kapoor’s radio show What Women Want and the actress was truly amazed. Kareena asked him how much time it took him to memorize the monologue and the actor revealed that he was actually given just one day to memorize it.

    “Jab maine pehli baar ye padha tha, The first time I read it… main bohot hasa tha but saath saath meri halat bhi kharab ho gayi ye sooch ke ki ye karunga kaiese…Mere pas ek din diya tha unhone, audition ke liye, so I’m that good!”

    Also, talking about his Punchnama movies which Kartik made his debut with, he addressed the criticism against these films and how they were tagged as misogynistic. He said, “To me, there was no criticism jo mere pass aya tha. Matlab media mein kayi baar, ek do baar question pooch lete they ya phir kahin na kahin kuch ata tha, lekin maximum time humesha mere pass there was this love which used to come towards me and people actually appreciated the film. Umm… even the girls! I mean they took it with a pinch of salt.  Kareena retorts “I can see…”

    He even narrated an incident from his promotions of Pyaar Ka Punchnama where he had gone to an all girls college and an auditorium full of girls wanted to hear him narrate his monologue. He added, “ Toh kuch hota hai who, ek bohot chota sa section hota hai jo seriously le lete hain but otherwise it’s an entertaining industry and we’re just entertaining people.”

    Kartik’s last film Pati Patni Aur Woh has been a big box-office winner and has already crossed the Rs. 75 crore mark.
