Kartik Aaryan To Play An Investigative Journalist In Ram Madhvani's Next, Actor Already Started Prep?

While Kartik Aaryan has a handful of films in his kitty already, he surprised all by signing Ram Madhvani's next. The actor would be teaming up with the Neerja director for a crime thriller in December. He has also been spotted sporting a different look with long hairs for his part. Now, we have gotten to hear that he would portray an investigative journalist in the film.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, he will be playing a journalist and the actor had already started prep by consulting his friends in the media industry. A source said, “The entire film unfolds in one media office. There are only 5-6 characters. It is a very intimate low-budget one-set film and Kartik accepted it because he wants to work with directors who can tap his acting chops, also because he wants to do films far removed from the lightweight comedies he has become typecast in.”

The film would have a start-to-end schedule, after which he would get back to the sets of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The same report mentions that he had just one condition for director Ram Madhvani- that this film has to do that for him what Neerja did for Sonam Kapoor. Well, we hope that we do get to see a new side of the actor and his talent with this one.
