Kartik Aaryan To Play An Unusual Role In Ajay Bahl’s Social Comedy Freddy; Deets Inside

Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is undoubtedly one of the most popular and sought-after actors of the Hindi film industry. Well, it was recently reported that the rising star has bagged a film which will be backed by Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment. This project will be directed by Ajay Bahl, who is known for his films Section 375 and B.A. Pass. According to latest buzz, the film is a social comedy and has been titled Freddy.

In a report shared by Spotboye, a source was quoted saying, “Ajay Bahl who has made films on bold unexplored themes in BA Pass and Section 375, has a very unusual role for Kartik. It's a lighthearted but extremely relevant character that would require a long preparation from Kartik. But the actor is up to the task. He will first finish his film with Ram Madhvani which starts shooting in December, then complete Priyadarshan’s Bhool Bhulaiya and Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 and then go on to Ajay Bahl’s film which starts shooting in June 2021.”

The source went on to reveal that Kartik will be portraying a character unlike any he has played so far and the reason Ajay chose him is because he wanted someone with a sense of mischief and mystery. The source added, “He will be nothing like Kartik Aaryan when he is ready to play Freddy.”
