Kartik Aaryan will take a break from Freddy to resume Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 next week

A few days ago, the handsome and very talented Kartik Aaryan took his next film Freddy on floors. He rode his bike to the set in Mumbai and expressed his excitement about returning to work after 5 long months. The romantic thriller is being directed by Shashanka Ghosh and is backed by Ekta Kapoor. According to latest buzz, Jawaani Jaaneman star Alaya F has been roped in opposite Kartik as the female lead. Well, a fresh new update about Kartik’s busy schedule has now been revealed!

The Bollywood heartthrob will be taking a break from Freddy to resume shooting for his horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 from 10^th August. In a chat with ETimes, co-producer Murad Khetani shared, “Kartik will be shooting with us from August with the co-actors like Tabu, Kiara and other characters of the film. Due to Covid-19 protocols, we will be shooting the rest of the film on sets and follow all that is required.” He also revealed that the release date of the film has not been decided yet, but assured that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will premiere in cinemas when it is ready.

The report further revealed that two sets are being constructed for the last schedule of the film, which also stars Tabu and Kiara Advani. Kartik will take a break from the horror comedy and shoot for Freddy before returning to the second set of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 to complete the last leg in September. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the project is a standalone sequel to Priyadarshan's 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which featured Akshay Kumar.
