Katrina Kaif Has Begun Prep For Ali Abbas Zafar's Superhero Film, Director Hopeful To Begin Shoot By January

Ali Abbas Zafar has been sharing regular updates about his upcoming superhero film which would have Katrina Kaif in the lead. He had updated us with how the scripting was complete and he has been in touch with the cast and crew. It was also said that the film failed to get funds and therefore, it would release on OTT as a Netflix original. Now, he has said that the shoot of the film might begin in January.

In fact, Katrina seems to be gearing up for the film already. The director revealed, "Katrina has already started her physical prep. But she has a few other commitments to wrap up before starting work on the superhero films.”

He added that he has shifted base to Dubai right now to be able to work smoothly. He said, “Yes, right now, I, along with my team, is working out of Dubai. The reason being: an international team is working with us on the series but due to the Covid-19 induced travel restrictions, it wouldn’t have been easy for them to fly in-and-out of India. So, in order for things to function smoothly, we have been stationed here."

He is supposed to release a web-series Tandav and might work with Diljit Dosanjh for a film which would have the Sikh riots as the backdrop.
