Katrina Kaif Refutes Rumours Of Teaming Up With Vikas Bahl For ‘Deadly’

A day back, reports claimed that Katrina Kaif is all set to collaborate with Queen and Super 30 director Vikas Bahl for a slice-of-life comedy. In fact, it was also said that it would be  a father-daughter story and Amitabh Bachchan is being roped in to play the father. While Amitabh Bachchan has not yet signed the dotted lines, Katrina had given her go-ahead for the project and the trio had apparently met too. There had been no official confirmation of the same. And now, Katrina Kaif has come out to claim that the reports are untrue.

A journalist from Huffington Post has revealed in his tweet that when he enquired the actress about her involvement in the film and association with a director who had been accused in the MeToo movement, she refuted the rumours straightaway. Here’s what he tweeted:

While Katrina has said no, we are yet to know if Amitabh Bachchan too has not been associated with the project or if he will be a part of the film! Mumbai Mirror had earlier reported, “ The film is tentatively titled ‘Deadly’ as the story is centred around a funeral. Katrina loved the basic premise, which essentially traces the protagonist’s journey of self-discovery with humorous undertones, and gave an instant go-ahead to Vikas.”
