Kiku Sharda Reacts To Sunil Grover & Ali Asgar's Comedy Stint Not Taking Off Post The Kapil Sharma Show

Comedian Kapil Shar’s show maintains its unique position amongst the various comedy shows that have come and gone from television. Many comedians like Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar tied their hands at various other stage show formats in the genre but they fail take off.

Now, Kiku Sharda reacts to the failure of his former Kapil Sharma Show colleagues and says it’s not their fault that their shows failed. Talking to Koi Moi he said, “In the past, even I have done shows that have wrapped up in three months. The controversy that happened is an old story now, and if actors are not coming back to this show, they might as well try something new. There are various factors that make a show, so if the shows of other actors did not work, it’s not their fault. I don’t think it is fair to take names or bring down someone because their show didn’t do well."

Sunil Grover who after an ugly fallout with Kapil Sharma beat a hasty retreat from the latter’s show hosted his own two projects including Mad in India and Gangs of Filmistan after his exit. Despite the success he saw on The Kapil Sharma Show for his characters like Gutti and Dr. Mashoor Gulati, his own projects failed to take off. Ali Asgar, on the other hand, joined the second season of 'Har Mushkil Ka Hal Akbar Birbal' but it did not float.

Sunil found his footing in few film projects and was highly appreciated for his recently released web series Tandav.
