    Bollywood actors Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma have according to reports filed for divorce by mutual consent ending their marriage of 10 years. The couple had separated in 2015 and after a few years of giving counseling a try they have now decided to legally separate.

    The legal proceedings are complete from their end as per reports and could take upto six months to come through. The couple tied the knot in 2010 and had been in a relationship since 2007 after working together in Madhuri Dixit starrer Aaja Nachle. They have a son together, Haroon, who was born in 2011 and will continue to be in the joint custody of both his parents.

    The couple had announced their separation in 2015 and remained on amicable terms even after parting ways. Ranvir was even a part of Konkona’s directorial debut A Death In The Gunj that released in 2017. Speaking about the separation Ranvir had told Indian Express in 2016, “There is no one to be held responsible for our separation. I would hold myself responsible for whatever has happened.” The actor also added that he still believed in the institution of marriage.

    The actress had announced their separation back in 2015 and wrote on Twitter, “Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you”.
