Kriti Sanon Confirms She's Tested Positive For Covid-19, Assures Fans 'There's Absolutely Nothing To Worry'

A few days ago reports were doing the rounds that actress Kriti Sanon has tested positive for Covid-19. The actress who did not give any wind to such reports for few days has now confirmed that she has indeed contacted the coronavirus but added that she’s feeling fine.  

Kriti posted a note on her social media handles to inform her follows this rather worrying piece of news. She wrote, “I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for Covid-19. There's absolutely nothing to worry as I'm feeling fine and have quarantined myself as per BMC and my doctor's advice. So I'm gonna ride this tide, rest it out and resume work soon. Till then, I'm reading all the warm wishes and they seem to be working. Be safe guys, the pandemic hasn't gone yet!”

The actress was in Chandigarh until last week shooting for an upcoming film with actor Rajkummar Rao. Kriti who was a few days snapped at the Mumbai airport was asked by the paparazzi to take off her mask for a minute to get clicked, an offer which she sternly refused.

It was soon after the reports of her testing positive for Covid-19 went viral. Kriti, however, isn’t the only actor to have contacted the deadly virus off late. Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor and Maneish Paul who were also in Chandigarh shooting for their film Jug Jugg Jeeya tested positive for Covid just a few days ago.
