From being called stupid to hypocritic, Kriti Sanon can hardly be called the favorite celebrity on the internet right now. Recently Kriti graced the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine where she looked smoking hot became the target of internet trolls and people were quite furious with the Bareily Ki Barfi star.

The controversy broke out due to a giraffe that was seen awkwardly hanging in the frame with Kriti looked disturbing too many. People called her out for promoting animal cruelty, especially where it served no purpose in making the frame look more fashionable.

If that was not enough, the photo was captioned " I’m not someone who gets angry easily, but when I read about atrocities against women, it really upsets me.” and thus netizens called her out for her double standards, where she talked about woman empowerment and expressed her anger towards subjugation of women but seemed to be fine with oppression of animals and cruelty towards them.

Here are some of the angry comments on the photo:

Well, in Kriti's defense, the photo was shot in Aynhoe Park in England which is a museum of taxidermy. Taxidermy refers to the use of animals dying of natural causes for academic purpose and this is not exactly cruel in it approach. However one has to agree that the frame does look a little disturbing to the eye and looks like a giraffe has been tied up and suspended from the ceiling.

Surprisingly Aynhoe Park in England is quite a famous place and there has been photo shoots and photos on the internet that was taken near this installation, but Kriti's picture, perhaps because of popularity, spread like wildfire and ended up in a lot of people being upset with Kriti. All we can say to Kriti is next time be careful about what the frame of a picture conveys because as they say, pictures can be more powerful than 1000 words.
