Kriti Sanon relives fond memories of shooting Raabta with Sushant Singh Rajput, feels their connection was 'meant to be'

Kriti Sanon celebrated four years of her film Raabta on social media today. The actress shared a video reliving some fond memories with her late co-star Sushant Singh Rajput while shooting for the film. The romantic drama helmed by Dinesh Vijan released in 2017.

The actress in her post said she truly believed in connections and managed to forge a strong one with Sushant and Dinesh Vijan while filming the project. Remembering her late co-star Kriti also lamented how Raabta remained her first and last project with Sushant.

“I believe in connection, I believe that we are meant to meet the people we do.. My Raabta with Sushant, Dinoo and MaddockFilms was just meant to be. Films come and go. But every single film has so so many memories behind it.. The connections we make & the moments we live with each other stay within us. Some more than others,” Kriti wrote.

She added, “Raabta was one of my best and most memorable experiences and it will ALWAYS remain extremely close to my heart.. ? Little did i know that it would be our first and last.. ?.”

Kriti had penned a long emotional note after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death in June last year. The actor’s demise shook Bollywood and having been a close friend of Sushant, Kriti was saddened by the fact she couldn’t help him.

On June 14, it will be one year since Sushant’s death.
