    While nervous flutters are what you expect from a debutante, filmmaker Pavan Kumar Chauhan is no ordinary director. The filmmaker, who is eagerly waiting for the release of his debut film Ekkees Tareekh Shubh Muhurat, is sure that the audience will love it. The film stars Sanjai Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari and Brijendra Kala and here’s why he feels it will do well, “I am sure that the audience will really relate to the story of the film, the performances by some of the best actors in the industry and the Mathura backdrop,” says Pavan.



     In fact, it was the story of the film that appealed to the makers as well. “Producer Rajesh Kumar Jodhani and Mukesh Jodhani were touched by story of the film. They wanted to make a family film. They loved my idea, so they took me on board to be the director,” says Pavan.

     Talking about the plot of the film, he says, “Every human being has a lot of dreams and desires. It takes them their entire life to achieve them. However, the dreams of a few people never get fulfilled. This is such story of a 55-year-old man Panditji, Girdhari Laal Sharma. He wants to ditch his family legacy of priesthood and wants to become a storyteller. Times passes and his daughter Radha gets engaged during this time. But due to the lack of money, the wedding cards are being printed again and again as the wedding keep postponed. But finally, the groom’s family gives an ultimatum of wedding on date 21st. So, the priest plans to save her daughter’s marriage but ends up tangling himself.



    Later, the priest realises that it’s his mistake and he needs to pay for his mistake. He gets over and one with his daughter’s wedding and then goes to jail. Finally, the dream of the priest comes true in the prison, as he has turned a storyteller and now he recites stories to prisoners.”
