Kumkum Saigal Files Extortion Complaint Against Luviena Lodh; Says, Her Allegations Injured Her Family’s Reputation

Luviena Lodh is making the headlines after she accused Mahesh Bhatt and his family of harassing her. The actress stated that she is married to Mahesh Bhatt's nephew Sumit Sabharwal, who supplies drugs to the various actors, but the filmmaker has denied any relation with Sumit.  Recently, Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt filed a defamation suit against Luviena Lodh after the actress made some serious allegations on them on her social media handle. 

Not only this but now producer Kumkum Saigal has also filed an official complaint with the Additional Commissioner of Police while alleging extortion charges against Luviena Lodh. In her complaint, Saigal mentioned that as her son has tested positive for COVID-19, her family has been quarantined because of which she is filing a complaint via email. According to the complaint, Saigal claims that Sumit Sabherwal was allowed to use her son Sahil Saigal’s flat in Andheri post his marriage to Luviena Lodh. 

However, in 2016, the latter filed an FIR against her husband after having troubles in the marriage Following which, he left the premises but Luviena refused to vacate the premises under one pretext or the other. The report also alleged that she has been enjoying her stay with her family members. Kumkum has now filed an eviction suit against her at the City Civil court.

The complaint also stated that the allegations made by Luviena has caused injury to her family’s mind and reputation. She also said that the stress it caused has had an adverse effect on her health. Saigal claims that Luviena has framed a conspiracy against her family with the ulterior motive of extortion. 

The video posted by Luviena Lodh on her social media handle had her saying that if anything happens to her, the only people responsible will be Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, Sumit Sabharwal, Sahil Saigal, and Kumkum Saigal.
