Laxmi Agarwal Grooves To Kartik Aaryan's Dheeme Dheeme Song, Actor Says 'I'm A Big Fan'

Kartik Aaryan’s dance number Dhemee Dhemee is one of the biggest hits of the year and right from Deepika Padukone wanting to learn the hook step to the song to the actor himself revisiting the dance steps to various songs like Salman Khan’s Munna Badnaam and Hrithik Roshan’s Ghungroo, the influence is taking the internet by storm.

Now, acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal whose story has inspired Deepika’s upcoming film Chhapaak was seen grooving to this popular Pati Patni Aur Woh number with a friend. Kartik shared a video of Laxmi dancing to the song and wrote, “Love this one ❤ I’m a big fan @thelaxmiagarwal”.

Although Laxmi did not try out Kartik’s hook step to the song she added her own narrative to it on the lyrics and seemed rather shy dancing to it.

As far as the film, Chhapaak, is concerned, the trailer was launched on 10 December which happened to be the World Human Rights Day and earned accolades from all corners. Deepika Padukone who play an acid attack survivor in the film can be seen living through the horrific incident and standing up again to fight for justice and finding happiness once again.

Chhapaak is being helmed by Meghna Gulzar and also stars Vikrant Massey. The film will release in theatres on 10 January 2020.
