Written and directed by Raghava Lawrence, the film is a remake of the South hit Muni 2: Kanchana and will see Akshay play the role of a man who has been possessed by the spirit of a transgender while Kiara Advani will portray the character of his love interest. Much to the delight of fans, the team wrapped up the shoot today.

    For the uninitiated, Raghava Lawrence is not only a director, actor and choreographer, but also a social activist. During the shoot of the film, he told Akshay about his charitable trust and shared how they are initiating a new project for uplifting transgenders by providing shelter for them. Before he could even finish, the Khiladi of Bollywood decided to donate Rs 1.5 crores for building the first transgender home in India. Raghava shared the news on his official handle thanking the actor for his support.

    Meanwhile on the professional front, Akshay and Kiara are all set to shine bright on the big screen in Raghava’s horror comedy on 22nd May.
