Liger Teaser Launch Canceled Last Minute, Vijay Deverakonda & Makers Announce They Will Release It 'At A Better Time'

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey starrer Liger teaser was supposed to be unveiled today. However, instead of trending for its power packed first look, the movie is in trends today for having pushed the teaser launch at the last minute.

Sharing a statement the makers of Liger informed that they want to wait for these testing times of the pandemic to pass and will unveil the teaser when the Covid-19 situation has improved.

“We were all geared up to reveal a power packed teaser for LIGER on 9th May. However, due to the current scenario and environment that our country is facing, we have decided to postpone the same in the hope to share it with the world at a better time for us all,” the statement read.

“Having said that, we assure and guarantee that you will witness Vijay Deverakonda in a never seen before avatar and you will not be disappointed,” it further added,

Expressing solidarity with the people  the Liger team asked them to take good care in the meantime, “Sit tight and until then we request all of you to stay safe, take care of all your dear ones, help each other and get vaccinated at the earliest. Take all the precautionary measures as prescribed by the medical fraternity and be sure that - we are all in this together. See you soon at the theatres when we're healthy and strong as a country.”

There have been reports doing the rounds that the Vijay Deverakonda film might get pushed to 2022, but the makers haven’t yet made any announcements of the sort.

Liger is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 9.
