Like Priyanka Chopra's famous tattoo, Jhanvi Kapoor gets mom Sridevi's handwriting inked on her arm; Check out pics & videos

Janhvi Kapoor got a special tattoo dedicated to her mother and late actress Sridevi. The actress shared a picture on social media flaunting her new ink on the side of her arm which reads ‘I love you my labbu’. The words and the handwriting are from a note Sridevi had once written for Janvhi, ‘Labbu’ being her nickname for the actress.

Janhvi’s post also has a short video clip of her getting inked. She can be seen visibly scared as the tattoo artist went about his business while the actress chanted ‘Govinda, Govinda, Govinda on repeat. Janhvi had previously shared the note from Sridevi in which the words for the tattoo have been picked. The note read, “I love you my labbu you are best baby in the world.”

Not just Janvhi and Priyanka several other Bollywood actors have also gotten special tattoos dedicated to their loved ones. While Akshay has the names of his family inked, Saif Ali Khan has one on his wrist dedicated to his wife Kareena Kapoor.

In Janvhi’s siblings, Arjun has a tattoo dedicated to sister Anushla and another one on his wrist dedicated to his mother. Khushi Kapoor has a tattoo with the birth dates of her family in roman numerals. Anushla and Khushi recently got matching tattoos too

In an interview with Neha Dhupia for a chat show in 2019, Khushi had revealed that their mother Sridevi didn’t approve of her love for tattoos. Janhvi in the same interview said she was too scared to ever get one. She might not have overcome her fear of getting a tattoo, as is evident in the video of her post but she did manage to get one that same year and the one for Sridevi is her second tattoo.

Sridevi died in Dubai in 2018 and both her daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor are often seen sharing pictures with their late mother remembering her and missing her.
