    Varun Dhawan was spotted this morning at a polling booth in Mumbai where he arrived with his father David Dhawan to cast his vote. Amidst a lot of media frenzy at the polling booth, it was a sweet gesture by the actor that has blown us away. Before he went in to cast his vote, Varun was seen helping an elderly woman up at steps of the booth and we are in awe of him for doing so.

    On Twitter the actor shared a picture of his inked finger after casting his vote for the Lok Sabha elections 2019, urging his followers to go do the same. He wrote, “Be Cool Go Vote #jaihind”.


    Apart from Varun, several other stars were seen polling booths casting their vote including Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Ajay Devgn and Kajol. Apart from them, Rishi Kapoor was seen echoing the voting spirit in New York where he sought help from the Indian consulate in New York to be able to cast his vote from there as he is still undergoing treatment.

    On the work front, Varun Dhawan’s recent release Kalank has been a major flop and the actor is working on his upcoming project Street Dance 3 which is being helmed by Remo D’Souza. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi.
