Love Aaj Kal: Saif Ali Khan Feels Fans Will Rush To Theatres To Watch Sara Ali Khan And Kartik Aaryan

One of the most awaited films of the year, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan’s Love Aaj Kal is all set to hit theatres on 14^th February. The romantic drama, directed by Imtiaz Ali, has a similar concept to the 2009 film of the same name which features Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. So, fans were obviously interested in knowing what Sara’s father Saif thought of the trailer. However, the actor left us in splits when he joked, “I kind of liked my trailer more.”

In a recent chat with TOI, the Jawaani Jaaneman star clarified that he was just joking. He went on to share, “It is not right to compare the two films as they are completely different from each other, building on a concept that can be revisited differently with each generation." He further added that he believes people are going to flock to see the movie as Kartik and Sara are both tremendously popular actors.

Love Aaj Kal follows the story of two love stories running simultaneously. However, while Kartik and Sara’s tale is of a modern day relationship, the other love story starring Kartik and Arushi Sharma is set in the year 1990. Are you excited to watch the romantic drama?
