Luv Ranjan All Set To Make New Film With Deepika Padukone And Ranbir Kapoor Post Ajay Devgn’s Exit

Luv Ranjan’s next directorial has been in the news for multiple reasons, but recently it grabbed headlines when Ajay Devgn decided to exit the project. With his exit, the fate of the film starring Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor was left hanging, but it looks like the director has finally managed to find a solution.

A source to the development informed, “Luv is planning another drama with the same cast after Ajay told him he won't be part of his other film that was announced. Luv already had Ranbir and DP's dates for his film and this would have cost him a chance to get their dream pair again on screen. So he has started scripting another rom-com, which like his other films, will be quirky and funny too. He will start the film around February next year, exactly when he was planning to start the other one. Ranbir and DP have okayed the concept and a verbal go-ahead is already there.”

While it would have been a lot of fun to see the unique trio of Deepika, Ranbir, and Ajay on screen, a film starring the eternal favorite on-screen jodi Ranbir and Deepika seems to be a fair compensation for the same.
