Of late, Bollywood seems to be on a mission to disappoint all the filmy music lovers. As if the constant onslaught of remakes ruining the memories of our all-time favorites were not painful enough, Bollywood is now coming up with songs with such ridiculous lyrics that it is impossible to believe some sane adult actually sat and wrote them down in all seriousness.

It feels like the upcoming film Student of the Year 2, starring Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey, is consciously trying to be a trailblazer in terms of bad lyrics. From trying to insert 'millennial lingo'  to going full-on Rosesh Sarabhai level of poetry, the songs of Students of the Year are just ridiculous to say the least. We refuse to believe that someone as talented as Anvita Dutt wrote these and in fact, we think there is a strike of lyricists going on in Bollywood that no one is telling us about.
