Malaika Arora On Her Relationship With Arjun Kapoor: Everybody Should Be Given A Second Chance

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora are painting the town red and no, they are not shy to open up about their relationship anymore. While rumours of the two seeing each other started to do the rounds ever since Malaika divorced Arbaaz Khan, it is now that the two have more or less accepted it. In fact, they recently had a small vacation to New York on Arjun’s birthday and the pictures spoke volumes about how happy they are with each other. But, not everyone has been very kind to these two, the reason being Malaika and Arjun’s age difference (Arjun is younger to Malaika) and because she is divorced. In an interview with a leading news portal, the Chaiyya Chaiyya girl oprnrf up about her relationship with Arjun, about second chances and about the unwarrented comments that both of them have to face.

Malaika said that second chances, especially for women, are looked down upon as a taboo.  

“It is a taboo because there are a lot of situations and issues that need to be tackled in our country, though I think the issue needs to be looked at with an open mind. A little more sensitivity (is needed), as opposed to being harsh and callous and negative towards things. I think it is important to be inclusive. When I talk of second chances, I'm thinking of making the most of second chances. I think everybody should be given a second chance.”

Talking about the unwarrented comments from people they don’t even know, Malaika said,

“It is part of being in the public eye, of being in this business. I think the sooner you make peace with it, the better things work out for you. Also, I feel we are all quite comfortable with it right now.”

Well, the two do look super adorable together and we just cannot have enough of them!
