Malaika Arora To Be Replaced By A Guest Judge In India's Best Dancer After Testing Positive For COVID-19

Malaika Arora tested positive for the novel coronavirus yesterday, hours after beau Arjun Kapoor also tested positive for the virus. The actress was a judge in India's Best Dancer, where some crew members had reportedly also tested positive. But now that the actress is down with the virus, would the shoot of the dance reality show still continue?

According to a report in Mirror, the shoot will be on and next week's episode would be shot in 2 days, i.e., on Wednesday. Ranjeet Thakur, the producer of the show confirmed the news and said, "We will shoot this week’s episode on Wednesday. We might call in a guest judge to step in for Malaika ma’am. We expect her join us in the next 10 to 14 days."

He also refuted rumours of crew members testing positive for the virus and added, "Everyone else in the crew has tested negative.”

Malaika's test reports came yesterday afternoon, hours after Arjun revealed that he is also down with the virus. The actress revealed that she is asymptomatic and is under home quarantine. She also hoped to bounce back soon, healthier and stronger. We are praying for her speedy recovery.
