Malang Actress Disha Patani Calls Herself A Tomboy; Reveals People Used To Call Her ‘Jadu’

The gorgeous and very talented Disha Patani, known for her slender figure and killer dance moves, is currently busy on a promotional spree for her upcoming film Malang. Also starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu in lead roles, the romantic action thriller film has been directed by Mohit Suri and is slated to hit theatres on 7^th October. The posters, trailer and songs of Malang have received a big thumbs up from fans.

In a recent chat with Deccan Chronicle, the beauty opened up about the challenges she faced while shooting the action thriller. Talking about one of the posters in which she is sitting on Aditya’s shoulders, Disha shared, “It was indeed very challenging. We were trying to pose for this poster in an easy manner, but we were unable to do it. It was not looking natural, so I climbed (his shoulders) on my knees first, which also didn’t work because I am very tall, owing to lack of flexibility. But thanks to my gymnastics, I could get the poster shot the way it is looking now.”

Disha also talked about her journey in Bollywood and revealed that she is a tomboy who managed to fit into the glamorous Bollywood industry. She stated, “Since my childhood days, I was very tall and preferred wearing basketball shirts. People called me jadu though. My sister, who is a Major in the Signals regiment, would take charge of saving me from all the cruelties that I met with owing to some unpleasant fights. I am still a shy person, but I have adapted to the present Bollywood scenario.”

Other than Malang, Disha has two exciting projects lined up for 2020. She will be sharing the big screen with Salman Khan in Radhe and has also committed to play the lead role in Ashima Chibber’s directorial KTina. According to reports, Disha will also shoot a hot item song in rumored beau Tiger Shroff’s upcoming film Baaghi 3.
