Malvi Malhotra Says Kangana Ranaut Failed To Help Her Despite Promising Support After She Was Stabbed Multiple Times

TV actress Malvi Malhotra who was in the news last year after being stabbed multiples times by a producer for turning down his proposition to marry her has now said that despite being promised help by actress Kangana Ranaut she did not come through to support her.

Malvi was stabbed thrice by Yogesh Mahipal Singh in October 2020 who was later arrested. Kangana had tweeted in support of Malvi during the time and made an argument against star kids for not standing up to support small time actors. Malvi has now in an interview with Mumbai Mirror said that despite having promised to help her on social media Kangana or no member of her team reached out to her while she was recovering in the hospital or after.

She told the publication, "I had a lot of faith in Kangana and I believed that she will come forward to help me and fight against this issue. So I requested one of the doctors taking care of me to record a video and put it in the public domain. The same day Kangana tweeted about it. She was targeting the industry and nepotism but she tweeted that she will come and help me and fight for me in this case."

The TV actress claims that she waited to hear from Kangana post discharge but it never happened. “When I got discharged, I was waiting for her to come forward and help but nothing happened,” she added.

In October, voicing concern for Malvi the Manikarnika actress had tweeted, “Dear Malvi I am with you, I read you are critical, I pray for you dear girl, requesting @sharmarekha ji to take immediate actions against the culprit, we are with you and we will get you justice. Please have faith. (sic)”

In another tweet the Bollywood actress had added, “This is the truth of film industry, this is what happens to small town strugglers who don’t have connections and proper channels, nepotism kids might defend themselves as much they want but how many of them have been stabbed, raped and killed ?”

Malvi has also claimed that while she wasn’t expecting it, actress Urmila Matondkar stood up for her and even got in touch with the police asking them to take care of the case.
