Mandira Bedi On Daughter Tara Being The Target Of Social Media Trolls: "I Can’t Take It, My Claws Will Come Out"

Mandira Bedi earlier this week was in the news for lossing her cool at a few trolls who called her daughter Tara names on her social media posts. The actress has now opened up about social media negativity and trolls targeting her 4-year-old adopted daughter and said that when someone targets her family, “My claws will come out.”

Talking about the nasty comments where her daughter was referred to as an ‘adopted street kid’ she tells Times Of India, “Tara is innocent and too young to understand what happened, but it hurt me. I don’t give two hoots about nasty comments. I can laugh over them when they are about me but it’s not okay to attack my family, my children. I can’t take it. My claws will come out.”

Mandira and her husband raj Kaushal adopted Tara last year and introduced her to the world via social media in July last year. Speaking about her two kids, son Vir and daughter Tara, the actress further said that she’s often asked if she could love her adopted daughter as much as her son. She says, “ It has only been a few months and yet, each day when I hug her, kiss her and put her to sleep, I just feel that it’s unbelievable just how much I love her. It’s my proudest and most grateful moment to have her on one side and Vir on the other, sleeping peacefully on my shoulders. I feel blessed that I could give a family and a home to one child, and give birth to another.”
