Manoj Bajpayee Spends His Birthday In Uttarakhand Shooting For Ram Reddy’s Film

Soon after he began the shoot of Kanu Behl’s directorial Despatch, actor Manoj Bajpayee tested positive for coronavirus. He went under home quarantine and followed all the safety protocols required. The versatile actor had stated that he got infected because someone from the crew was careless. A few weeks later, he recovered and tested negative for COVID-19. Bajpayee then dived right back into work. Well, today he is celebrating his 52^nd birthday in Uttarakhand shooting for an upcoming film.

In a chat with ETimes, Manoj revealed that he left for the hills soon after he recovered to begin shoot. He shared, “Fortunately, right after I came out of the Covid-19 infection and quarantine, I had to leave for Uttarakhand to shoot for a film, which is being directed by Ram Reddy. So yes, when I am talking to you, I am here, in Uttarakhand, shooting all nights.”

He went on to add that it is quite cold in Uttarakhand but it is away from all the chaos which has taken over the country due to the pandemic. Bajpayee explained, “We cannot even spot anyone here while we shoot. We are living in small cottages and just focusing on the work here, which is far better than living within four walls in big cities.” Well, that’s definitely true.
