Filmmaker Nikkhil Advani will also be recreating Sonam Kapoor’s Masakali song for this film. But apparently according to a media portal this is no the only song that will be recreated. The film will have another old song recreated for the film. Well, the report states that the song “Chaahe Meri Jaan Tu Le Le” from the Feroz Khan and Vinod Khanna starrer Dayavan will also be redone for this film.

Well, the original song had Vinod Khanna, Feroz Khan and Ramya Krishnan in the song. The report quotes a source as saying, “in the new version of the song, the makers have worked on the audio and made it more contemporary and that Sidharth and Rakulpreet both have already shot for the song.”

Rakul will be playing a dancer in the film and this will most likely be her introductory song in the movie. Point to be noted here is that the words Haiya o-o-Haiya was used as an interlude in the original song but in this film, the entire song has been named Haiya-o-Haiya.

There have been so many old songs that have been recreated in the past and there are so many that are already in the pipeline. This song has attained an iconic status over the years and now it is for us to just wait and watch whether the remade version can do justice to the original track or no!

Marjaavaan will hit screens on November 8th. John Abraham’s Pagalpanti was supposed to release on the same day, but the actor decided to push his comedy to November 22, to give Marjaavaan a solo release.
