Mayday: Shoot Of Film Reworked After Rakul Preet Singh Tests Positive For COVID-19

Rakul Preet Singh has now joined the list of celebs who had been affected by the novel coronavirus. The actress, yesterday, took to social media to reveal that she is doing fine. She was busy shooting for Ajay Devgn's Mayday now. Given her condition, she wouldn't be working for some time now. But, the show has to go on. Therefore, the makers have now reworked the schedule of the film.

According to a report in Mid Day, the crew and cast has returned to Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City and has begun work. A source said, "Ajay, who plays a pilot in the aviation thriller, will can his solo scenes and those featuring the cabin crew in the coming days. He won't take a Christmas or New Year break, instead focusing on finishing the film as early as possible."

Rakul had apparently tested positive on Saturday and had immediately alerted everyone. The source also added, "Rakul spent most part of last week doing rehearsals at her Jubilee Hills home, and had not reported to the set. She was to begin shooting this week. Thankfully, her interaction with Ajay and the remaining crew had been minimal. Nevertheless, Ajay had himself and all those in contact with her immediately tested." Thankfully, the results came negative.

We are wishing for the speedy recovery of the actress.
