#MeToo: Payal Ghosh Meets Maharashtra Governor, Seeks Y-Level Security While Pleading For Anurag Kashyap's Arrest

Actress Payal Ghosh who was pretty vocal about the alleged sexual misdemeanor meted out to her by director Anurag Kashyap had also filed an FIR against him at the Versova police station. However, post the incident, there were many friends of the director from the industry who came out in his support. In her claim, Payal had stated, on the pretext of giving her work, the director invited her to his place and tried to sexually molest her.

She also alleged that Anurag received sexual favours from all his actresses from Richa Chaddha to Huma Qureshi. The Bombay Talkies director has vehemently denied all accusations against him and an investigation in the matter is underway. And now, like Kangana Ranaut, Payal too has asked for a Y-category security for herself.

Today, the actress met the Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshyari and has pleaded for action against Mr Anurag Kashyap. The actress has also submitted a letter requesting a Y-category security for herself as she feels that her life is under threat.
