Meezan Jaffrey Confirmed As The Male Lead For Hungama 2

Despite his smoldering looks, Javed Jaffrey’s son Mezaan Jaffrey’s Bollywood debut was far from ideal. However, it looks like the Malaal actor is getting a massive second chance as he has been confirmed as the main lead for Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2 which is going to be a sequel to the 2003 comedy hit Hungama.

Starring Paresh Rawal, Akshaye Khanna, Rimi Sen and Aftab Shivdasani in lead roles, Hungama is still considered one of the most loved comedies by Priyadarshan. Confirming the presence of Meezan in the sequel, the veteran director said, “Yes, we’ve found our male lead in Hungama 2 and it’s Meezaan. The boy is terrific on-screen. He is a fabulous dancer like his father, emotes and fights well too. There is nothing he can’t do.” The work on the project is in full swing and it is expected to go on the floor soon.  Given his dad Javed Jaffrey has been one of the best comic actors in Bollywood, maybe this is the space where Meezan will find his niche.

Apart from his Bollywood career, Meezan has also been in the news for his alleged affair with the granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda.
