Mika Singh Banned By All India Cine Workers Association After His Karachi Gig

Mika Singh’s Karachi gig has landed him up in serious trouble as the All India Cine Workers Association has officially banned him for performing in Pakistan. Owing to the Indian government’s decision of revoking Article 370 in Kashmir which subsequently drew a strong reaction from Pakistan, the diplomatic relationship between the two countries are tense right now. Given the current situation, AICWA banned Mika for not prioritizing national pride.

The letter not only makes sure that no one in the industry would work with Mika but also threatens legal action against anyone who would employ the super hit singer. The AICWA has also sought the attention of Information and Broadcast Ministry in the matter. Check out the full letter here:

On Sunday, the singer found himself at the receiving end of scathing outrage after the news of him performing in Pakistan surfaced. Mika performed at the wedding of a Karachi based billionaire’s wedding, who is reportedly a close relative of the former Pakistani President Pervez Musharaf.
