Milind Soman on Sunday took to social media ‘feeling a useless’ as he informed his followers about his inability to donate blood plasma after recovering from Covid-19 last month. The actor has been encouraging people through social media who have recovered from Covid-19 to donate plasma to help patients battling the disease recover.

In tweet, Milind shared that he had gone to donate plasma but was unable to due to low antibodies. He wrote, “Went to donate plasma today but antibodies were too low. Felt a bit useless.”

A user replied to his post wondering how in just 2 months of recovering was he low on antibodies. “Why is it low? What makes it low rather,” and Milind patiently explained, “Its low to donate, not to fight the infection :) antibodies increase or decrease based on the body’s requirement and severity of infection.”
