Mimi trailer: Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi prove that they are an incredible package in this mind-blowing story

Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi are gifted actors, who successfully win our hearts every time they shine on the big screen. The two have worked together twice before and it’s double the fun when they share the screen with one another. While they played father-daughter in Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi featured them as ‘door ke rishtedaar’. Well, for the very first time Kriti and Pankaj are headlining a project together. Their much awaited film Mimi is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. After the impressive teaser, the trailer dropped today and it is everything we expected it to be!

Based on the 2011 Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy!, Mimi follows the story of a dancer from Rajasthan who agrees to be a surrogate for an American couple. She hears about the offer from her friend Pankaj and while she is hesitant in the beginning, she says yes after hearing about the money involved. However, the couple back out last minute and she is asked to abort the child. The concept is fresh and the story-line seems to be wonderful. After watching the trailer, we can confidently predict that the actors will soon have another hit on their hands.

While Kriti’s performance is mind-blowing, maybe her best yet, Pankaj successfully tickles your funny bone with his expressions and hilarious one-liners. Together they make one dynamic duo that leaves us wanting more with their impeccable comic timing and incredible acting chops! Directed by Laxman Utekar, Mimi is all set to premiere on Netflix on 30^th July.
