Mirzya Actress Saiyami Kher Roped In For Anurag Kashyap's Next

It is all things new for director Anurag Kashyap as he had just announced (on his social media handle) his new film on the 13^th of June, 2019 that would be produced under the banner of his new production house. However, as was being speculated in the media reports, his next will NOT be a horror flick featuring Taapsee Pannu (not to forget he had announced the film himself) for producer Sunir Kheterpal. This project would be delved into by the filmmaker by the end of this year. As of now, he is concentrating on a different project altogether.

It is well known that Anurag Kashyap is not really a person to announce his projects beforehand. He prefers to keep low key and surprise his fans by suddenly coming out with the teasers and trailers and this time as well, he did the same and he didn’t announce the film even though the shooting started on 13^th in Mumbai.

Every possible detail about the film, right from the title to the actors have been kept under wraps and nothing is being revealed. However, there is buzz about Malayalam actor Roshan Matthew who starred in films like Koode, Thottappan so on and so forth will play the lead. The source further informed us, Saiyami Kher too has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Roshan.

"Saiyami’s Mirzya didn’t work, it failed miserably at the box office but everyone took notice of her She was paired opposite Ritesih Deshmukh in a Marathi film last year and she is just over and done with Amazon Prime’s Breathe. This Anurag Kashyap venture will be her second film.”

Having said this, the director of Roshan’s Moothan took to his social media handle to express his happiness at the fact that the former has grabbed a film under the Anurag Kashyap directorial.
