    Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti has been in the hospital since Sunday and had to undergo a critical brain surgery the following day. Several reports suggested that the filmmaker was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed while he was with his friends.

    It was reported that Jagan had blood clots in his brain and needed immediate surgery after he was admitted. His condition was reported to be critical.

    The latest updates on his health came from filmmaker R. Balki who told Mumbai Mirror that he was recovering well. “Jagan is doing well post the surgery and there is nothing to worry about now.”

    The news of Jagan Shakti’s surgery shocked many Bollywood celebrities including Mission Mangal actor Dalip Tahil, who wishes to meet him in the hospital as soon as it is permitted. The actor also revealed that Akshay Kuamr has been taking care of everything at the hospital and was one of the first people to know. It was, in fact,  Akshay who admitted him to the hospital.

    Jagan has been admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital.

    The filmmaker made his directorial debut with Mission Mangal with it was supposed to be Ikka, the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kaththi which released in 2014 and starred Vijay. The film was put in the backburner and will be Jagan’s next project where he might reunite with Akshay Kumar.
