    Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub Says He Won't Work With 'Cowards' Who Are Afraid Of Offering Work Due To His Political Opinions

    Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub is one of the few celebrities in Bollywood who freely express themselves on social media on various matters of political nature. That said, the actor is also well aware that his opinions can take a toll on his professional career as an actor and has expressed that the fact doesn’t bother him.

    Raanjhanaa actor has said that while he doesn’t mind working with people of opposing ideologies but said that if someone doesn’t want to offer him work because of his opinions then he won’t want to works with such ‘cowards’ in the first place.

    Talking to CNN News 18 Ayyub said, "The fear of losing out on projects often comes to my mind. But I knew this would happen ever since I've started speaking up. I have come to terms with one fact that I won't work with people who get scared to offer me work because of my political stand. There's no point in working with such cowards.”


    Adding to his point the actor also, "I have no problem working with people of opposing ideologies. We are living in a democracy and everybody has a right to have a different opinion. But if you are scared to work with me just because I speak on political issues then I'm sorry I can't work with you."

    At the onset of 2020 Zeeshan Ayyub lent his unequivocal support to students of Jamia Millia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University who protested against the Citizenship Amendment Act and were lathi charged.

    The Article 15 actor says he needs to lead a life that allows him to sleep peacefully at night and expressed that he cannot be an actor if he’s not able to feel the pain of others.
