    Mona Singh Reveals Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha Was To Be Shot In Delhi Before Lockdown, Has 10 To 11 Days Shoot Left

     Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Laal Singh Chaddha is just one of the many Bollywood films left unfinished due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. Actress Mona Singh who will also been seen in the film shared a status report on the film as it stands before the lockdown.

    Mona who is reuniting with her 3 Idiots co-stars said that Aamir Khan was keen on everyone’s safety and suspended the shoot ahead of the nationwide lockdown.

    The actress told Mid-Day, "After our Amritsar and Chandigarh schedules, we were supposed to head to Delhi for the next stint. But Aamir sir decided to return to Mumbai. He didn't want to put the unit at risk. We have about 10 to 11 days of shoot left."


    Aamir plays a Sikh man in this official remake of the 1994 Tom Hanks film Forrest Gump. Mona also revealed that since she’s fluent in Punjabi she bonded with Aamir over helping him with the language whenever he got stuck. She said, "We have a lot of Punjabi dialogues in the film. So, Aamir sir used to ask me the meaning or pronunciation of certain words and I helped him out."

    Laal Singh Chaddha will now be unable to release in December and has been pushed forward for a 2021 release.
